Online e-book conversion tools are put to the test
David Kudler decided it was time to retest several online ebook conversion tools, from both retailers and aggregators.
So he grabbed an excerpt from one of his novels that already included an image and drop cap and added color to the text, just to make the test interesting.
Kudler then sent the document through Amazon’s KDP, Barnes & Noble’s Nook Press, Kobo’s Writing Life, Draft2Digital, PublishDrive, and Smashwords.
The results? Some improvement from the previous test, years ago, but images were still often the sticking point (as he expected).
