Two grammar gurus — or gods, really — released books on language this year, providing the perfect opportunity for Literary Hub to pick their brains.

Mary Norris, The New Yorker’s “comma queen,” published Greek to Me in April; Benjamin Dreyer, copy chief of Random House, released Dreyer’s English in January.
