Why does a book with a higher Amazon ranking have fewer clicks than a book with a lower ranking?
The author probably promoted with multiple newsletters that day. While some authors are hitting the Top 100 solely based on their promotions with us, others are using 2 or 3 newsletters.
Why do books with links to Amazon get more clicks than links to Book Funnel or Story Origin?
We think it’s mainly because readers are more comfortable with Amazon and familiar with it.
How do you use this data to make decisions on pricing?
Every few weeks, we see how genres are performing and whether they meet the goals we’ve set. Based on that, we then either increase the price, leave it as-is, or decrease it.
