We love books. Period.
That people still insist on trying to define what a "real book" is baffles us. A book is a book. Period. It doesn't matter who published it. It doesn't matter whether its format is paper or digital.
So to see people like Jonathan Franzen continue to thumb his nose at anyone not published by the Big Six is disappointing. But the upside is if elitists like Franzen didn't keep opening their mouths, we wouldn't get to enjoy delicious takedowns like this one written by David Gaughran.
