Get into your writing groove
We all wish we had more time — especially those who balance writing with day jobs, families, adulting, and leisure time.
While Dave Chesson can’t explain how to manufacture more time out of thin air, he does have some advice on maximizing the time you do have for writing.
His six steps to achieving Zen-like efficiency are as follows:
-
Find your writing tool.
-
Find and optimize time.
-
Avoid self-editing. (Note: This does NOT mean “don’t edit”!)
-
Remove distractions.
-
Set and track progress.
-
Enhance your environment.
Chesson explains these in further detail on Anne R. Allen’s blog.
